This Saturday (July 10th), I’ll be speaking on the Building Your Brand and Marketing panel at the Atlanta Urban League Young Professionals Entrepreneur Bootcamp. During the half-day conference, participants will receive guidance and training from key leaders in the metro Atlanta business community, and attend workshop sessions on the various aspects of business ownership including business plan development, legal considerations, marketing and finance. This dynamic event will help equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools needed to conceive, launch and grow a profitable business.
This conference falls lockstep into my passion for helping young minority entrepreneurs as I strongly believe entrepreneurship is the future. Hopefully, I’ll see you there.
Before I go, I wanted to leave a quick tip for all new/future entrepreneurs about your idea - it’s no big deal. If it’s any good, someone has had it before and someone will have it again. If you’re still convinced it’s that good, go file a patent first, and then go talk about it (courtesy of Venture Hacks).
