NBA All-Star Weekend in Orlando was quite an experience. Some good, some bad, and a “whole lotta” change. Aided by a great “team”, focusing on getting to product/market fit, and other awesome contacts (too many to name – you know who you are), approx. 3,000 people were touched at the events.
Ten years ago, if you told me that I’d be organizing packed All-Star parties, I would have labeled you insane.
Here’s a quick photo recap (click the images), before I get to what’s next.

The Lean Startup philosophy has taught me to look at the world as a set of problems that need solutions. And I’m focused on the four problems described here.
The road to solving these problems leads through:
+ March: Sol Fusion (Atlanta)
+ April: FAMU/FSU Graduation (Tallahassee) x Orlando
+ May: Memorial Day Weekend (Atlanta x Orlando)
+ July: Essence Music Festival Weekend (New Orleans)
+ September 1: ONE Music Festival (Atlanta)
To help, I’ve even formalized (somewhat) my event organization/assistance team. We’re called “The Architects.” More information on what we do can be found at www.thearchitects.fm.
