How The Tech Scene Plays A Role In What We’re Doing With sf35

As we continue our search for the business model for sf35, I continue to meet an re-connect with people from tech scene. Now, the sf35 mission is to help make better entrepreneurs from under-served communities…most of whom aren’t founding tech companies. And that’s ok.

But tech entrepreneurs are “hot” right now (and have been for a few years). They’re like rockstars.

In short, they’re considered the best entrepreneurs out right now.

And its my vision to connect these two ecosystems/communities. If you want to be the best, you have to “beat” the best. And to “beat” them, you have to, at least, be aware of what you’re going up against. At sf35, we’ll do our best to expose our rockstars to their rockstars

But the funny thing about successful people is that some of them don’t feel they need to keep getting better by learning new stuff.

That’s not the type of entrepreneur I want in sf35. Channeling my inner Nick Saban, I want the person who is constantly trying to get better. Who wants to be pushed and challenged. Who wants to go “good on good” (compete against the best).

So, we’ll continue to let our members know about tech events/opportunities. Yeah, they may not seem like perfect fits, but its my hope that they take advantage of the chance to get better.
