Why I Created The Online “How To Plan + Promote Awesome Events” Course + Why I’m Charging For The Course Materials

Based on the feedback, I’m moving forward with the online course “How To Plan + Promote Badass Awesome Events in the State of Florida.” Here’s why:

Didn’t Complete The Mission

When I first started doing my own consistent events in 2008, I made a promise to increase the number of high-quality events for young professionals across the state. And I think that I did that in Orlando and Tallahassee. However, I wasn’t able to spread to other cities.

But, I did had people across the state who wanted to learn from me – especially after I made the “retirement” announcement. Only thing was that there were soooo many of them. No way I could have given all of them one-on-one instruction.

So, I do what I do best…put it online.

Now, I can influence an unlimited amount of people ( in theory). These people can then use these techniques in their respective cities. And, maybe. Just maybe the mission continues.

And Here’s Why I’m Charging 30 Bucks For The Course Materials

I’m the type of dude that wants to only be around people who put in the work to consistently get better. Been like that since I was a kid. So yeah, I could make the course completely free and get 1,000 people to sign up. But, 90% of them probably wouldn’t take it seriously and drop out after a few weeks.

I only want to deal with the 10% who are committed. And charging helps to weed people out. Oh, and if you can’t afford 30 bucks, then you aren’t ready to implement this stuff anyway.
