I can’t begin to express how much the support received for Goodie Hack last weekend meant to me. The energy, people, and products were all amazing.
But we’re not finished.
In fact, this was just the beginning as Amplify 4 Good will host three more hackathon-style events over the next 100 days in Atlanta.
As I announced at the close of Goodie Hack, next up is the Student Edition of Goodie Innovation in partnership with the United Negro College Fund. On Saturday, March 28th, seventy (70) Atlanta University Center (AUC) students and high school juniors and seniors will generate ideas for tech-enabled social enterprises that will impact Atlanta’s under-served communities. The top ideas will move onto the UNCF Hackathon, during the Weekend of the Stars, where their tech products will be built by African-American computer science students, and they present to a larger audience at Morehouse College.
Here’s where we need your help:
+ Team mentors + Subject-matter experts (social good, tech, business, education, etc.)
+ Food donations
+ Individual prize for the students
If you’re able to help in these ways (or more), please contact me directly @joeydigital, or fill out the short form at www.amplify4good.org/
Thanks and please feel free to share this information with your network. Let me know if you have any questions.
